Mary Connors

Mary is a 38-year veteran in education. She comes to New Haven Reads with a wealth of experience and dual certification in special education and literacy. Her education includes an undergraduate degree from Southern Connecticut State University, a master’s of education from Boston College, a sixth-year in literacy from Sacred Heart University, and she is presently studying to be a recreation therapist at Gateway Community College. Mary’s hobbies are reading, music, and writing. She loves poetry and published one poem, “Voices of One,” reads Maya Angelou for ideas, and loves flamenco music.
