2025 was a very busy year for New Haven Reads!
Between all of our programs, we served 461 students during 16,918 program hours with over 450 volunteers to help!
Our Outreach team attended over 50 events in our community spreading the word about New Haven Reads, recruiting volunteers, and distributing books to adults and children.
Our Book Bank hosted 85 classroom field trips, serving 1,399 students with 7,834 books distributed to the students. Our Book Bridge program served 53 unique classes, with 1,220 students with 2,611 books distributed. Our total books distributed back in to our community was 85,000 through all our programs and events.
