Creating Ornaments for The Study at Yale

For the past two years, The Study at Yale has asked us and our students to put together decorations for a very special Christmas tree. The tree is filled with festive holiday ornaments and auctioned off, and all proceeds go to support Ronald McDonald House. See the 2012 tree pictured below.

This year the process went so smoothly and produced some beautiful decorations, all thanks to the help of our fabulous volunteers and our creative students! Even our Pre-K & Kindergarteners got to join in the fun, making a beautiful garland to wrap around the tree.

Special thanks to:

  • Volunteer extraordinaire Kathy for designing the ornaments
  • The Hamden High Baseball team for helping compile the kits at our Volunteer Day
  • Every tutor who helped their student make an ornament!

Check out the photos of the completely decorated tree below! Thanks to Anthony of The Study for sending them our way.

The Study had so many decorations from our students that they were able to decorate this tree, the tree in the lobby of The Study Hotel, and the tree by Santa’s chair at the Breakfast with Santa!
